I'm gonna start to get all touchey-feeley here, something I probably do quite often. One of the sayings that Jesus taught (now referred to in elementary schools as The Golden Rule) was to 'Do unto others as you would have others do unto you'. Many people practice that. Of course, many people don't.
The thing, many people in both groups forget what I believe to be the key to that equation...the most important part of that equation. Do unto yourself what you would want others to do upon you and themselves. If you can't treat yourself well and properly, then why should you expect other people to treat you any better?
